TEAM CEBU CITY WINS 55TH SOUTHERN LEYTE ANNIVERSARY BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP By Maloney L. Samaco PhilBoxing.com Tue, 30 Jun 2015  The boxers from Team Cebu City showed great strength and determination in winning as overall champion of the boxing tournament in the 55th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Southern Leyte at the Maasin City Bus Terminal. Cebu City won 8 golds and 3 bronze medals to emerge the No. 1 team after the finals Sunday night. While ALA Gym boxers were not far behind as second placer overall as the six boxers they sent all won gold medals. ALA Gym was 2 golds less than the output of Cebu City. Third was Leyte Sports Academy with with one gold and six silvers. Fourth was Maasin City with one gold four silvers and two bronzes. Fifth was Camiguin Tiger Boxing Club with three silver medals. Sixth was Ubay, Bohol with one silver and four bronze medals. Seventh was Matalom with one silver. Eighth was Tomas Oppus with one bronze medal.
