PACQUIAO VS CHI STILL AN OPTION!

Korean Boxing Commission executive adviser Major Lee, who is a member of the powerful WBC Board of Governors, informed in an interview yesterday that the WBC has sent them the letter regarding the deadline set for the negotiation between the camps of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, and that WBC president Jose Sulaiman purposely sent it after the Philippine elections so as not to bother Pacquiao in his political activities.
"This is going to be a great fight if this happens," said Major Lee. "However, if Pacquiao versus Marquez does not materialize, I think WBC featherweight champ Injin Chi will be more than willing to face Pacquiao instead," said Lee, who revealed that the injury-sidelined Chi will have to first hurdle the winner of the Oscar Larios-Jorge Linares interim championship showdown.
Earlier, Pacquiao versus Chi had been penciled to take place at the Wynn Hotel in Macau, China, but negotiations fell apart and the Filipino icon then faced Mexican Jorge Solis.
