NBA Playoffs -- Warriors sweep Pelicans, coast to second round

NEW ORLEANS -- How sweep it is.
The Golden State Warriors are through to the second round of the playoffs.
Steph Curry pumped in 39 points to lead his team to a four-game sweep of the No.8 ranked New Orleans Pelicans following a 109-98 Game 4 victory on Saturday night at the Smoothie King Center.
"I'm proud of the way we competed. Four in a row is a good feeling. We're going to rest up," Curry, a leading MVP candidate told reporters after the clean sweep.
Klay Thompson added 25 points while Draymond Green tallied 22 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. The No.1 seeded Warriors now await the winner of the Memphis Grizzlies-Portland Trail Blazers series to determine their next foe. The Grizz currently lead the injury depleted Blazers, 3-0.
Anthony Davis led the Pels with 36 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Gordon had 29 and five assists while Ryan Anderson and Dante Cunnigham had 10 apiece.
