NBA -- Pelicans handle Sixers to win fourth straight
By Absalon Inocian, Jr. PhilBoxing.com Wed, 28 Jan 2015

New Orleans ? It?s payback time.
Anthony Davis, a starter in this year's All-Star Game, led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 99-74 victory over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night at the Smoothie King Center.
Davis? dominant performance --- 32 points, 10 rebounds and four denied shots --- fueld the Pelican's fourth consecutive win.
?No disrespect to them, you know, we came to Philly and they destroyed us. Knowing what they did to us up there, you know, we just have to come out and make sure we go out to a good start. That?s what we did. We want to make sure that we?re going to put them away.? Davis said at the post-game interview.
Ryan Anderson notched 19 points, shooting 4-of-5 three point shots and seven rebounds. Eric Gordon finished with 13 points while Tyreke Evans contributed 6 points and tied his season-high of 12 assists.
?Obviously last time we played them, they came to a great start and they played incredibly hard. We want to turn that around and tonight we played great.? Ryan Anderson said.
?Just read the defense. I?m better with the ball on my hand. I see the guys, looking for AD, Ryan, EG, just finding those guys to make easy buckets.? Tyreke Evans added.
For the visiting 76ers, guard-forward KJ McDaniels led the team with 16 points. Henry Sims and Luc Mbah A Moute added 14 apiece.
