CEBU CITY - Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara of the ALA Gym and Mario ?Rocky? Meraz of Mexico easily made weight for their twelve round main event battle this Saturday for Pagara?s WBO International light welterweight title.
Pagara stepped on the scales at 139.5 lbs while Meraz was 139 lbs.
?Prince? Albert Pagara and Hugo ?Olimpico? Partida of Mexico had to be restrained during the customary pose for the photographers. It seemed they wanted to start their fight a day early.
The younger Pagara and Partida both made the division limit of 122lbs for their twelve round contest for the vacant IBF Intercontinental junior featherweight title.

AJ ?Bazooka? Banal (124lbs) vs. Defry ?The Hammer? Palulu (123lbs) of Indonesia ? 10 rounds.
Jimrex ?Executioner? Jaca (141lbs) vs Masayoshi Kotake (141lbs) of Japan ? 8 rounds.
Elmo Traya (141) vs Naozumi Tsuchiyama (141) of Japan ? 6 rounds. Tsuchiyama fights with a prosthetic right leg and has seen action here in Cebu a few years ago.
Richard Barrios (106) vs Lester John Pronco (106) ? 8 rounds.
Jess Rhey Waminal (116) vs Fritz Cabilla (113) ? 4 rounds.
Kazuma Ejiri (121lbs) of Japan vs Jerome Baja (120lbs) ? 4 rounds.
The official weigh-in was held at Robinson?s Mall and supervised by Rolando Mendoza and Glenn Agena of GAB-Cebu.
