Flyweight prospect and former national team member Jake Bornea will face tough Raymond Tabugon for the WBC Asia flyweight title May 24 at the Lagao Gymnasium in Gen. Santos City. Both boxers made the division limit of 112 lbs during the weigh-in held Friday.
In the main supporting contest, Jether Oliva will try to bounce back from a hard fought loss to Moruti Mthalane in South Africa when he squares off against Wilber Andogan for the WBF International lightflyweight title. Both Oliva and Andogan tipped the scales at 108lbs.
