BREAKING NEWS: CONDES BATTLES IBF CHAMP MAY 5!

Dynamite-fisted RP minimumweight champion Florante Condes of the Aljoe Jaro Stable will challenge IBF minimumweight world champion Muhammad Rachman in a 12-round war on May 5 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Sources from Indonesia have said that after the camps of both Rachman and Condes failed to come to an agreement for an American showdown, handlers of the Indonesian world champ have decided to finally bring the fight to Jakarta.

Reports have it that Rachman's handlers have demanded some $75,000 for their champion to defend his title against Condes in the United States, but American promoter Bobby Bostick, who promotes Condes, would hear nothing of the demand, and offered a much lesser amount.

Condes has been installed by the IBF as Rachman's mandatory challenger after the latter made a choice defense against another Filipino Benjie Sorolla, defeating the latter on a seventh-round technical knockout last December.

Condes, a devastating power-puncher, is being touted as the 'smaller version of Manny Pacquiao,' as is considered a good candidate to dethrone the fast-moving Rachman.
