ENRIQUEZ VS BORNEA FOR WBF INT?L FLYWEIGHT TITLE

Unbeaten prospect Michael Enriquez will fight for the WBF International flyweight title on January 14 at the Gen. Santos Oval Gym against Jake Bornea.

Jim Claude Manangquil told philboxing of this match-up.The 22 year old Enriquez (7-0-1, 4 KO?s),just like Bornea (5-0, 3KO?s), will be fighting for his first title belt.

Also to see action are Daryl Basadre (9-1-1, 6 KO?s), who will be pitted against veteran Nelson Llanos (22-30-3,9KO?s) in an eight rounder. Former world title challenger Jether Oliva will mix it up against Michael Rodriguez.

In his lone career loss, Oliva (19-1-2, 10 KO?s) lost to then IBF jr.flyweight champion Ulises Solis by unanimous decision two years ago. Rodriguez (13-37-1,3KO?s) lost twice in Thailand last year.
