SAN FRANCISCO -- The Sacramento Kings (4-11) will face top-ranking team Oklahoma City Thunder (12-3) Tuesday night at the Sleep Train Arena.
The Kings were winless against the Thunder last season, 0-3, losing by 10 points or less each time. But with a new season in the offing, the Kings hope to turn that trend around.
Sacramento will rely on the 1-2 punch of center DeMarcus Cousins and Isaiah Thomas to upset OKC. Cousins is averaging a double-double -- 21.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per -- while Thomas leads the Kings with 17.1 points a contest.
The Kings, however, will need plenty of defensive might to stop Thunder All-Stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook who are averaging nearly a combined 50 points a game. The Thunder produce 104.1 points a game. (LP)
