Philippine bantamweight champion Michael Domingo of the ALA Stable will defend his title for the fourth time tonight against top-ranked Edgar Gabejan in a 12-round tiff at the Talisay Sports Complex.
Domingo had won the RP crown with a technical decision over Joel Bauya last year, and had since made successful title defense against Rolly Lunas, Roger Galicia and Johnny Lear.
However, Domingo will try to redeem himself from a ninth-round knockout loss last October against Frenchman Frederic Patrac for the World Boxing Foundation bantam crown held in Agde, France.
In the chief support, world-ranked Bert Batawang goes up against Rey Orais over 10, while hard-hitting Rocky Fuentes takes on Rolly Mandahinog in another tenner.
The ALA Boy Fuentes, if victorious, aims to vie for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific flyweight title next.
The rest of the card pits Mark Jason Melliguen against Rex Marzan; Reman Salim versus Rico Genon; Rogen Flores versus Roel Honor; Rashid Bacus against Jerry Manganip; and Marjo Borres versus Ranie Pamatian.
