MARINA BAY SANDS DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!

Chris Johns vs Shoji Kimura and Daud Yordan vs Lorenzo Villanueva to be broadcast in the region.

Tickets to the biggest sporting event at Sands Expo and Convention Center are sold out!

Singapore (3 May 2012) -- Marina Bay Sands is proud to announce that all 4,000 tickets for the Dragon Fire Champion Boxing Event have been snapped up, ahead of the nail-biting event this Saturday. Spectators will be witnessing the World Boxing Association (WBA) Featherweight Champion, Chris John defend his title against Japan's Shoji Kimura and the International Boxing Organization (IBO) Vacant World Featherweight Champion, Lorenzo Villanueva challenge Indonesia's Daud Yordan.

The much-anticipated event will also see the rise of homegrown Singapore talent, Mohd Nor Rizan who will be fighting for the Super Bantamweight bout against China's Wang Xin Hua. In preparation for his fight, Nor Rizan has been involved in a rigorous training regimen in Australia. With an admirable record of six wins and only a single defeat. Nor Rizan recently sparred with WBA Featherweight Champion, Chris John, upon his return from Australia - showing his determination in winning the title of Super Bantamweight.

The Dragon Fire Championship Boxing Event will give boxing fans in Asia an opportunity to be the first to witness two "live" championship title fights in a single night. Boxing aficionados will also have the opportunity to watch the fights as the event will be telecast "live" across the region, on premium channels such as Starhub Singapore, Astro Malaysia, TV5 Philippines, RCTI Indonesia, MainEvent Australia and BBTV Thailand. In addition to these channels, the event will be made available to broadcasters in China, Middle East, and Europe including Poland, Israel and Turkey.

On 5 May, exhibition Hall F at the Sands Expo and Convention Center will be transformed into a spectacular sports arena with tiered seating for the boxing event. The event will include pyrotechnics, music and lights to immerse fans in the buzzing boxing atmosphere.

Tickets were sold at S$500, S$300, S$120 and S$50.
