The six professional boxers fighting on Sunday's ALA-Summit Natural Drinking Water Boxing Tour had their official weigh-in and pre-fight physical examination at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) office in Cebu City Saturday morning.
Along Denoy of the ALA Gym weighed 112 and a half lbs while Charlie Cabilla of the Raul Kaamino Stable of Cagayan de Oro tipped the scales at 111 and a quarter lbs. They will fight in the main event in an eight round non-title contest.
Jocel Gestopa of Consolacion, Cebu weighed 124 ? lbs. His opponent, Jece Cris Rosales of Dagohoy, Bohol will be penalized by wearing heavier ten ounce gloves for coming in over the stipulated 124 lb weight limit. Rosales initially weighed 129 lbs and after an hour of sweating off the excess pounds weighed in at 126. They will engage in a four rounder.
Raymund Tabogon of Cebu weighed 115 lbs while Jeffrey Galsim of Cagayan de Oro weighed 116 lbs for their 4 round bout. The weigh-in was supervised by Celso Miranda of the GAB.
This ?free to the public? fight card will be at the Gaisano Country Mall Car Park. Amateur contests will start this event and fight time is at 7 P.M.
