MIDSAYAP, NORTH COTABATO--Both WBO Oriental featherweight champ Eric Canoy and unbeaten challenger Lorenzo "Thunderbolt" Villanueva easily made weight during official weigh-in a few minutes ago in advance of their 12-round showdown here tomorrow.
Canoy and Villanueva both came in at 125 lbs, a shade below the featherweight limit of 126 lbs.
WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo is supervising tomorrow's highly-anticipated showdown.
