Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Eumir Felix Marcial of the Philippines stepped the scales at 161.4 lbs while his opponent Ricardo Ruben Villalba of Argentina came in at 162 lbs during the official weighin at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas Friday.
Marcial (3-0-0, 1KO) and the veteran Villalba (20-7-1, 8KOs) will tangle for a scheduled eight rounds in the middleweight division. This will be Marcial's first 8-round bout in the paid ranks.

Marcial last fought on Oct. 8, 2022 against American Steven Pichardo at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA in a 6-rounder fight he won by unanimous decision.
The Marcial-Villalba fight is on the undercard of the Rey Vargas vs Shaqquie O'Foster WBC super featherweight title fight promoted by Premier Boxing Champions and broadcast on SHOWTIME.
