WBO #15 Bryan Blandon battles Brian Mosinos in the main event; WBO-ranked Kevin Vivas and Gerardo “Chocolate” Sanchez collide in key junior flyweight bout
MANAGUA, NICARAGUA — August 12, 2026 — The stage is set for another night of international boxing in Nicaragua. All Star Boxing, Inc. officially presented “Los 5 Fantásticos” during a press conference held today at the Centro de Convenciones Olof Palme in Managua, where fighters and their teams came together ahead of this Friday, August 14 event at the same venue.
Promoted by All Star Boxing, Inc. and Felix “Tuto” Zabala Jr., Friday’s card will showcase a strong group of Nicaraguan fighters against international opposition from Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Canada, the United States and Guatemala.
The 10-round junior bantamweight main event, Managua’s undefeated Bryan Blandon (12-0-1, 2 KOs), currently ranked No. 15 by the WBO, will face the experienced Brian Mosinos (24-8, 7 KOs) of Mexico City.Blandon will look to protect his unbeaten record and continue his climb in the WBO rankings against a Mexican opponent who enters the contest with 32 professional fights of experience.
One of the most significant fights of the evening will feature two world-ranked junior flyweights. Masaya’s Kevin Vivas (9-4, 2 KOs), ranked No. 11 by the WBO, squares off against Honduras’ Gerardo “Chocolate” Sanchez (9-2-1, 5 KOs), ranked No. 13 by the WBO, in an eight-round contest.With both fighters already positioned among the WBO’s leading contenders, the matchup carries major implications as each looks to strengthen his position in the competitive 108-pound division.
Also featured on the televised card will be Managua’s Ricardo “Big Bang” Blandon (20-6, 13 KOs), who brings his aggressive, power-punching style into an eight-round super featherweight bout against Elias Vega (6-8) of Las Tablas, Panama.
In other action Undefeated junior flyweight Miguel Estrada (5-0, 4 KOs) of London, Ontario, Canada will put his perfect professional record on the line against Managua’s Jefry Hernandez (4-5-2, 1 KO) in a six-round contest.
In junior middleweight action, Miami’s Alexander Hernandez (9-1, 5 KOs) meets veteran Mexican Emmanuel “Pollo” Lopez (30-19-1) of Chiapas in a scheduled six-round bout.
The televised opener will feature another battle of unbeaten fighters when Matagalpa featherweight Yanior “Pharaohs” Vega (4-0, 3 KOs) faces Samuel Dominguez (1-0) of Guatemala City in a four-round contest.
The first bell is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. local time, with live television beginning at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN Knockout throughout Latin America and Canal 4 in Nicaragua.
Friday’s event continues All Star Boxing’s commitment to providing opportunities for Nicaragua’s established contenders and emerging prospects while bringing international opposition and televised professional boxing to Managua.
