A big boxing event takes place on April 30 in Digos City as the American Boxing Academy, headed by Ken Smith, presents a slambang card to be headlined by some Mindanao prospects.
"We will have our third promotion in Digos City," says Smith in an email. "We are a modern operation, and have grown
considerably in our first year," added the US-based boxing benefactor.
According to Glen Salazar, operation manager of the ABA, the main event will feature ex-RP champ Ramie Laput while the two co-features will showcase nationally-rated fighters Richie Mepranum and Fernando Lumacad.
Undercard fighters include Cerillo Espino versus Janjan Claveria, while Michael Rodrigues takes on Bimbo Nacionales for six rounds.
