Jack connects at McKernan with a right.
Former two division world champion Badou Jack dominated Blake McKernan to win by unanimous decision on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr boxing event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).
Jack (23-3-3, 13KOs), originally from Sweden who now resides in Las Vegas, targeted McKernan's body in the early going and finished strong going to the head of McKernan as their eight-round scheduled cruiserweight fight came to a close.
McKernan (13-1-0, 6KOs), from Sacramento, California, who came into the fight touting an undefeated record, could not find an opening from Jack's tight defense, and though was in trouble several times, was able to finish the fight on his feet.
Jack last saw action in December 2019 against Jean Pascal where he failed to capture the WBA light heavyweight title. Jack held world titles in the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.
