TAPALES, CANOY, PALICTE SEE “THE RESTART” AS BOUNCE-BACK EVENT

For Sanman CEO Jim Calude Manangquil, “THE RESTART” on November 21 is just another major event as it commences the promo outfit’s closed door activities during pandemic times. But for Marlon “The Nightmare” Tapales (W33 KO16 L3 D0), Aston Palicte (W26 KO22 L4 D1) and Joey Canoy, it will be huge bouncing-back party as they will try to bring back momentum into their careers after recent world title challenge losses.

Tapales recently suffered a TKO loss from the hands of Japanese Ryosuke Iwasa. Palicte’s most notable loss was against Kazuto Ioka. Joey Canoy failed to wrestle the IBO 105 belt from Nkosinathi Joyi. However, losing is part of every world champions’ journey and these guys are not just giving up on their aspirations. They are coming back. They vowed to come back stronger and better.
