PETALCORIN, SHIRO MAKE WEIGHT IN JAPAN

Former light flyweight titlist Randy Petalcorin (W32 KO23 L3 D1) is a sleep away from another world title fight as he tipped in the scales at 106.5 pounds while defending champion Kenshiro Teraji (W16 KO9 L0 D0) weighed 107.5 pounds for their the WBC World Light Flyweight Title clash tomorrow. The fight will be staged at the Yokohama Arena in Japan.

Petalcorin is very determined to make things right this time after his heartbreaking loss to IBF titlist Felix Alvarado in a fight where expectations were high from him. “I want to make it up to my managers, my fans and my team. I learned a lot from my loss to Alvarado. I was called on short notice for this fight but it will never be an excuse. I am here to take home the belt to my country”, Petalcorin stated.
