In a welterweight bout, Vergil Ortiz (13-0,13KOs) remained undefeated and kept his KO streak alive by stopping Mauricio Herrera (24-9, 7KOs) of Riverside, California 29 seconds into the 3rd round. In the post fight interview Ortiz stated he will drop down to 140lbs to challenge one of the champions.
