As Romero Duno and Reymart Gabalo wrap up their training camps for Saturday?s fight, their opponents have arrived in Manila more than ready to mix gloves with them. Kuldeep Dhanda of India who will face Duno arrived on February 6 while Japanese warrior Yuya Nakamura who battles Gaballo arrived last February 3. Both fighters are staying at the Grand Opera Hotel.
Nakamura is aware of Gaballo?s record but asserts his will to win an upset. ?I am ready to shock Gaballo in front of his home crowd. I will win this for Japan. Japanese warriors are tough and you will all see that on Saturday?, Nakamura stated.
Dhanda was all calm when interviewed. ?I did not come here to get fed to the lion. I am here to win. India is not so famous for its boxers so I want to change that and make a statement against Duno?, Dhanda said.
The event dubbed as Knockout Kings will be held on Saturday, February 9 at the Midas Hotel and Casino in Manila and will be televised live at ESPN5 starting 7:30pm. First bout starts at 5pm
