Lightweight prospect Romero Duno of General Santos City made short work of his opponent Yardley Suarez (Yardley Armenta Cruz) on the undercard of the Jorge Linares vs Mercito Gesta WBA world lightweight championship at The Forum in Inglewood, California Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila). Duno (16-1, 14KOs) cornered Suarez (22-10-0, 10KOs) in a neutral corner and rained the hapless Mexican-American with powerful punches until Suarez dropped to the canvas.
