Bobby Pacquiao is scheduled to face Mexican Fernando Trejo in a 10-round non-title bout on November 23 in El Cajon, California.
This will be Pacquiao's first bout since his seventh-round knockout loss at the hands of Mexican Humberto Soto, one of the names being groomed by Top Rank to face superstar Manny Pacquiao next.
Trejo, nicknamed "El Pillo" or The Thief (30-12-4, 18 KO's) is riding high on a three-bout winning streak starting late last year. He boasts of a knockout win over WBC interim lightweight champ Jose Armando Sta. Cruz.
The younger Pacquiao, nicknamed "The Sniper", is currently training at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.
On the same card, ex-WBC welterweight champ Carlos Baldomir sees action in a non-title bout against Luciano Perez, while Freddie Roach-protege Vanes Martirosyan also goes up against a soon-to-be-announced foe.
