PETALCORIN RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA IN NOVEMBER

Filipino light flyweight Randy Petalcorin is penned to see action at the Malvern Town Hall against Indonesian Oscar Raknafa on November 10. Petalcorin (26W-2L-1D,19KO?s) is the reigning IBF Pan Pacific light flyweight titlist and is a former WBA interim world light flyweight champ.

Petalcorin is also scheduled for a local fight at the Polomolok Gym this September 9 against Jetly Purisima. The 25 year old Petalcorin has won three straight fights since the controversial split decision loss to Omari Kimeri at the Melbourne Pavilion.

This will be Petalcorin?s third appearance at the Malvern Town Hall in Victoria, Australia.

Promoter Peter Maniatis, who informed philboxing of this match-up, pointed out that the 26 year old Raknafa (13W-14L,5KO?s) owns a win against Muhamad Rachman, a former IBF world minimumweight champion. Rafnaka is also a former Indonesian champion and a former WBO Asia-Pacific minimumweight titleholder.

The fight card billed as ?November 2 Remember? is presented by Peter Maniatis Events.
