Comebacking 'Prince' Albert Pagara gets a new opponent in Aekkawee Kaewmanee of Thailand after his original opponent Waldo Sabu of Indonesia "backs out... due to managerial issues," ALA Promotions has informed Philboxing.
Pagara vs Sabu will fight on the undercard of 'Pinoy Pride 41: New Generation Warriors' headlined by rising star Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo who will defend his WBO International featherweight title against Daniel 'El Genral' Diaz of Nicaragua scheduled on July 8 at the IEC Convention Center in Cebu City.
Pagara (27-1-0, 18KOs) continues his rebuilding process after his knockout loss to Cesar Juarez of Mexico on July 9, 2016 in the US. Kaewmanee (16-9-0, 6KOs) lost 5 of his last 6 fights the last one was a 1st round knockout against Tim Hunt of Australia last April 21. Pagara vs Kaewmanee is contracted for 10 rounds at 127 lbs.
Also featured on the card are knockout artist Jeo 'Santino' Santisima (13-2-0, 11KOs) who will go against undefeated Tanazanian Gookluck Mrema (16-0-0, 8KOs) for 10 rounds bantamweight and world title challenger Melvin 'Gringo' Jakosalem (11-1-0, 7KOs) who face local boy Joey Canoy (12-3-1, 6KOs) for 10 rounds minimumweight.
