NBA -- ​Clippers ​edge Raptors, 104-98, in preseason play

LOS ANGELES -- ​The Los Angeles Clippers notched their first preseason victory in two starts after beating the Toronto Raptors, 104-98, Wednesday night at Staples Center.

​Blake Griffin powered the Clips with 24 points and 8 rebounds while big man DeAndre Jordan imposed himself in the middle with 14 points and 10 boards. Chris Paul saw limited minutes but managed 7 points and a game-high 15 dimes.

Raymond Felton added 17 off the bench for Los Angeles, which shot 52.2 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from beyond the arc.

​Toronto got a team-high 20 from All-Star DeMar DeRozan but the Raptors, who dropped to 1-2, made only 34 of 77 field goals.
