NBA -- Pelicans extend Lakers' slide to six games

New Orleans ? The Smoothie King Center in New Orleans was packed as they welcomed the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. Fans were entertained as Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlbert was shooting the movie, ?Daddy?s Home? during the halftime show.

Pelicans? superstar, Anthony Davis led the team coming from a sprained toe with 29 points and four blocks to extending Lakers? losing streak to six.

?The team did a great job of looking for me as I was trying to find the ball. I just tried to get myself going and get my rhythm back.? Anthony Davis during the post-game interview.

?We got energy from our defense to hold the team to 12 points in the fourth quarter, says a lot of our defense and our ability to bounce back.? Pelicans head coach Monty Williams said during the post-game interview.

Eric Gordon made 17 points and a season high 10 assists. Tyreke Evans had 19 points and Quincy Pondexter added 12.

?I love Eric?s floor game tonight with 10 assists. He had the chance to see some areas where he needs to step up when Jrue is out.? coach Williams said.

Kobe Bryant, whose arm appeared to bother him in the final period nailed 14 points and seven rebounds. Jordan Hill added15 points and 13 boards while Wayne Ellington pitched in 12 for Los Angeles.
