MILWAUKEE -- In the 38th Annual MACC Fund game Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the host Milwaukee Bucks put up a gallant effort before bowing to the Chicago Bulls, 91-85.
The MACC Fund, or commonly known as the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., was created in 1976 to help raise money for cancer research.
In support of the noble cause, a good crowd of 10,769 fans turned out for the preseason skirmish..
All eyes were on Bucks rookie Jabari Parker and Bulls superstar Derrick Rose.
Parker finished with 11 points and missed 9 of 14 field goals while Rose, the 2011 league MVP, tallied 16 points, including three triples.
Pau Gasol led the visiting Bulls with 20 points and 12 rebounds while Jimmy Butler added 18 on 6-for-10 shooting. Taj Gibson had 11 and Joakim Noah chipped in 10 points and 4 boards for Chicago, which made 30 of 71 shots.
Larry Sanders led the Bucks with 14 points and 8 rebounds while Zaza Paculia pitched in 12.
