GASCA VS. ADUCAL IN BANTAYAN ISLAND

PhilBoxing.com

CEBU – A rejuvenated Roli Gasca of the ALA Gym will face Jimmy Aducal in the main event of a fight card set in Bantayan island on June 22. Gasca (19W-4L-1D, 5 KO’s), who hails from Barili, Cebu, once held the PABA and OPBF regional titles. He has bounced back from a two fight losing streak overseas to score a majority draw against former WBA world superbantamweight champion Akifumi Shimoda of Japan in Tokyo last April 6.
Aducal (6W-1L-2D, 5 KO’s) has won via the short route against his last five opponents. He won the PBF super flyweight belt last February by 5th round TKO against Bryan Vicera. Gasca vs Aducal is a non-title bout.

The supporting main event will feature unbeaten prospect Mark ‘El Supremo’ Acub (11W-0L, 9 KO’s) of the ALA Gym against Rene ‘King Tiger’ Bestudio (15W-4L-4D, 5 KO’s). Acub has scored back to back stoppage wins against Fernando Otic and Bonnie Makiling. Bestudio had a major win last April 13 when he beat former WBO Oriental titlist Anthony ‘Rocky’ Marcial by 8th round TKO in Taguig City.

Also set to see action are Arjan Canillas vs Rodel Wenceslao (8 rounds), popular ring funny man Jojo Intor vs Jamjam Ungon (4 rounds), Engelbert Moralde vs JR Salvador (6 rounds), John Vincent Moralde vs Rolando Navarette,Jr (6 rounds) and Kim Galon vs Ryan Canillas (4 rounds).
