?BEBOT? ELORDE PROUDLY PARADES 7 WBC CHAMPIONS

Gabriel ?Bebot? Elorde Jr has every reason to be proud since he now parades no less than seven World Boxing Council champions including six Youth Intercontinental champions after six of Elorde?s seven fighters e won their battles for vacant titles at the Puerto Princesa Coliseum over the weekend.

Elorde?s prized 24 year old fighter Sylvester Lopez who won the vacant super flyweight title with an 8th round TKO over Korean champion Jong Nam Park on April 5, 2009 and last September 24 won the WBC silver title with an 8th round TKO over fancied Mexican Oscar Ibarra was joined by six promising youngsters with only 21 year old bantamweight Dado Cabintoy losing by an 11th round TKO to Japan?s Hiroki Shiino.

The 25 year old Shiino is ranked No. 2 in Japan with a record of 7-1 with 6 knockouts and was coming off a big 6th round TKO over fellow Japanese Kazuyoshi Niki (27-5-1, 15 KO?s) last August.

Jaderes ?Mayon? Padua of Albay won the WBC Youth Intercontinental super bantamweight title with a 2nd round knockout of Thailand?s Manopnoi Sinmgmanasak to improve his record to 6-1-1 with 4 knockouts while Manopnoi fell to 5-6 with 2 knockouts.

Renan Trongco, a 22 year old southpaw who lost by a 6th round TKO in a battle for the WBA minimum weight interim title against Sammy Gutierrez last February 12, came back with a 2nd round knockout of Sirisak Sitjarem to win the vacant light flyweight title.

18 year old Cris Paulino moved his undefeated record to 7-0 with 2 knockouts by scoring a tebn round shutout over Danai Meendaeng with judges Virgilio Garcia, Romy Yulo and Rey Danseco turning in identical 120-90 scorecards.

Undefeated 19 year old super flyweight Gabriel Altejeros scored a ten round unanimous decision over Gawna Sorsirisak to win the vacant title with judges Rey Danseco 99-91, Romy Yulo 97-93 and Bruce McTavish 98-92 all scoring the fight for Altejeros.

Bantamweight Vergel Nebran won by a 1st round knockout of Petchunan Sithpandaeng with referee Virgilio Garcia counting out the Thai at 2:40 of the opening round. Nebran was coming off a 6th round TKO of Ryan Soliveres last August 13.

20 year old super featherweight Jose Maxian kept his undefeated run going (7-0, 5 KO?s) with a 2nd round knockout of Thepsamuthr Duanaay Mukdahan.
