A roster of pool champions from around the world are coming to Manila for the 11th Predator International Championships in an invasion that promises to provide five days of marvelous pool at the Robinson's Galleria from from September 14-18th. Regardless of whether the event is sanctioned by the World Pool Association or WPA whose contribution to the sport is merely ceremonial and an opportunity to collect sanction fees, the players led by the lovely lady Jasmin Ouschan, a crowd favorite in Manila will fight hard to win one of the longest running and prestigious titles in pool. Among the world class players many of whom will all be using top of the line Predator cues are US Open Champion Darren Appleton, Interpool Champ Raj Hundal, Poison Pro Classic Champion Charlie Williams, World 8-Ball Champ Dennis Orcullo, World 10-Ball Champion Jasmin Ouschan, Former World 9-Ball Champion Ronnie Alcano, Hall of Famer Ralf Souquet who won the World Pool Masters and the World Cup of Pool with partner Thorset Hohmann and pocketed total prize money of $50,000. Others looking to have their names inscribed on the winners list are China Open Champ Chris Melling, World 14.1 Champ Stephan Cohen, Asian Champ Lee Van Corteza, World 14.1 Bronze Medalist Max Eberle, European Champ David Alcaide, Former Predator Championship Winner Tony Drago, and Reigning Predator Champion Efren Reyes who has been bothered by illness and hasn't been playing too well recently. However, Reyes is expected to recover after a few days rest and be ready to defend his title. Many more Predator pros will be participating from Japan, Philippines, and all around Europe and Asia.
