The Inquirer was told that Robert Non will continue as head of SMC Basketball Operations and will also retain his position as Barangay Ginebra representative to the PBA Board of Governors which jut concluded its annual board meeting in Hong Kong. Both Eala and Non were present when the SMC president had a thank you lunch with the coaches and assistant coaches of the conglomerates three teams at the Diamond Hotel last week following the Petron Blaze Boosters stunning victory in the best-of-seven Governors Cup championship series in which they beat fancied Talk N? Text 4-3 which also discussed the possibilities in the PBA Annual Draft.
