SALUDAR VS PUMAR MOVED TO CAVITE

The WBO Asia-Pacific flyweight title fight between Froilan ?The Sniper? Saludar and Gabriel ?BoomBoom Toei? Pumar will be held at the Island Cove Resort Hotel & Leisure Park in Cavite this August 6. Promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed philboxing of the transfer of venue this morning.
Gello-ani?s SGG Promotions had earlier scheduled this fight at the Cebu Coliseum on July 30. The final line-up for the undercards will be announced soon.
The 22 year old Saludar (12-0-1-9KOs) has fought in Cavite for the past year. He stopped his last six opponents and won two WBO Youth titles. Pumar (15-5-1-9KOs) showed promise five years ago when he won the WBC International minimumweight title from Tshepo Lefele in South Africa by seventh-round knockout. But Pumar would subsequently lose to two South Africans, Zukisani Kwayiba (TKO 10) and Nkosinathi Joyi (KO1).
