Jaro KO?s Megri?o in Binangonan

Sonny Boy Jaro beat Rey Megri?o by third round knockout in their fight held last Saturday at the Ynares Plaza in Binangonan, Rizal for the IBF Asia Pacific light flyweight title. Gabejan E. Singwangcha (Edgar Gabejan) beat Vinvin Rufino by split decision for the Philippine featherweight title.
Marvin Tampus beat Rogen Flores by 4th round TKO in the undercard.
Promoter Aljoe Jaro, who informed philboxing of the results of the main bouts, was happy with the attendance which he estimated to be at 4,000. He hopes Sonny Boy can figure in an IBF eliminator and was also delighted with Gabejan?s performance. This fight card will be shown on a delayed basis on GMA TV.
Aljoe Jaro also informed that Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello will fight in Hawaii against a still be named opponent in the undercard of Brian Viloria?s WBO Flyweight title challenge against Julio Cesar Miranda of Mexico.
