ROGER MAYWEATHER SAYS PACQUIAO FIGHT WILL NEVER HAPPEN UNLESS MANNY AGREES TO BLOOD TEST By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Mon, 07 Mar 2011 LAS VEGAS ? March 5 - Roger Mayweather, the trainer and uncle of undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr says pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao must agree to a blood test for a much talked about fight to finally happen. In an exclusive interview with the Inquirer at the nicely laid out Mayweather gym that was laced with a liberal smattering of foul language, Roger Mayweather said ?they talk about Pacquiao, Pacquiao, Pacquiao but Pacquiao has never taken a (blood) test so I don?t know. I don?t know whether he (Floyd) will ever fight again or not.? The uncle/trainer said ?if he takes that test I know we?ll have a fight. But he don?t want that test. That?s the whole key. That means he (Pacquiao) don?t want that money.? Mayweather clarified ?I?m not saying that Pacquiao is not a good fighter but what I am saying is this. A guy fights with something in him, he ain?t basing that on his skills and ability as a fighter, he?s basing that on something that energies him to do what the f**k he?s doing.? Mayweather insisted that ?in boxing you have to take the test that?s why people take the drug test, you take an aids test. Boxing is a healthy sport so if you ain?t doing the right thing no.? The trainer said ?how are you going to fight somebody who is taking something? That?s why the fight will never happen anyway.? Asked whether he would fight anybody else should a Pacquiao fight not take place, Mayweather said ?I don?t know as to how he feels about boxing. But I hope we do fight Pacquiao so we clear up all this about how good Pacquiao is. All he has to do is take that test.? Mayweather said ?the same tests that Floyd takes he (Pacqiao) has got to take.? While he conceded that Pacquiao is a good fighter Mayweather insisted ?the best fighter out there skill - wise is Floyd who takes no substance. Floyd is the best fighter out there. Period.? Referring to fighters like Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky ?The Hitman" Hatton who were both beaten by Mayweather Jr and later Pacquiao, the trainer said ?Floyd didn?t beat them because he had s**t in him. He beat them on his true ability. That?s different.? He added, ?Pacquiao is a good fighter but I don?t know how good he is if he didn?t have that s**t in him. He?s been knocked out twice already (against Rustico Torrecampo and Medgoen Singsurat) so that tells you how good he is right there. If he hadn?t that s**t he?ll probably get knocked out again.? Mayweather added ?he ain?t going to get knocked out because ain?t nobody who challenged Pacquiao to take the test but my nephew.? The uncle and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr ended saying ?If he takes that test we?ve got a fight and he?ll get that ass whipped too. I heard him say he?s going to take the test but I don?t know. I am just like you. I?m a man who don?t know the truth. He says he?s going to do something and the m****r f****r don?t do s**t.?
