MELINDO GIVES JIN-MAN JEON A BITTER BOXING LESSON, KNOCKS OUT THE KOREAN IN TWO

CEBU CITY ? One of ALA's brightest prospects gave the visiting Korean a bitter boxing lesson after Melindo outpowered and outclassed Jin-Man Jeon knocking out the Korean who unwisely came toe to toe with the master boxer at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino here tonight. A powerful left uppercut by Melindo at 43 seconds of the second round went home to the face of Jeon that sent the Korean lumped to the canvas unable to beat th count. The highly rated Melindo is now looking for an opportunity to challenge any of the lower-weight world champions.
