The Tabunok, Talisay Sports Complex will host an exciting fight card this January 23, 2010 organized by the “Dynamic Talisay Triumvirate” or DTT Events and Promotions,Inc. Headlining the event will be a 10 round bout between lt. flyweights Jason Canoy of the Omega Boxing Gym of Mandaue City and Ruther Del Castillo of the Ringside Stable of Manila, while the supporting main event is the clash between Andy Se?erez of the Yanie Sta. Cruz stable of Talisay City and Jerpaul Valero of the Omega boxing gym.

There will be four preliminary four round contests: superflyweights Memar Dula of the Yanie Sta.Cruz stable vs. Rey Villar of the Omega Boxing Gym, superfeatherwieghts Jeffrey Segara (Yanie Sta. Cruz Stable) vs. Ariel Adan (Phil-Aust gym, Mandaue City) , Lt. flyweights Sary Canonigo (Yanie Sta. Cruz Stable) vs Ervin Yamo (Phil-Aust Gym), and mini-flyweights Delmar Cabatas (Yanie Sta.Cruz Stable) vs Dionilo Salvador,Jr. (Phil-Aust Gym).

The boxing extravaganza will also feature 12 amateur fights in the under card. The organizers promise gorgeous round card girls as well as round card men.

The organizers want to continue this tradition. Talisay City now has a huge pool of amateur boxers still in elementary and high school which will be ready for the national team and the pros in the next few years.

In attendance for the press conference held at the Red Moon Restaurant at Gaisano Tabunok were DTT President Milbert Dacayana, consultant Teddy Alivio, Director Tom Bu?o, DTT operations director Ernie Salomon, DTT VP-Marketing for California Marco Reburiano and DTT Marketing for New York Cris Diamante.

DTT is tying up with promotional companies abroad and promise to bring foreign fighters in their subsequent fight cards. Representatives of Tiger Beer, one of the sponsors, were also in attendance. INTV CCTN network will handle the TV coverage. Tickets are affordable at 50, 300 and 500 pesos and are available at the Red Moon Chinese Restaurant in Talisay City.
