Cuba’s unbeaten heavyweight Lenier Pero (242.2 lbs) and London’s towering puncher Jordan Thompson (238 lbs) both came in fit and confident ahead of their 10-round main event bout, promising fireworks between two hungry contenders looking to break into world title contention. The undefeated Pero (12-0, 8KOs), a southpaw from Camagüey, Cuba, has been steadily climbing the heavyweight ladder with a blend of skill and pressure.
