Plania, Duno suffer KOs in the US

FILIPINO boxer Mike “Magic” Plania lost his magic as well as teammate Romero “Ruthless” Duno, who both suffered knockouts to separate opponents yesterday, January 31, at the Whitesands Events Center in Plant City, Florida, USA.
The 26-year-old Plania was stopped by Angelo “El Chinito” Leo of the USA in the 3rd round at 2:27.
Plania now has four defeats against 29 wins with 16 knockouts while the taller 29-year-old Leo is now with 23 wins with 11 knockouts and one loss.
Duno, on the other hand, was knocked out by Antonio “Tono” Moran of Mexico in the 6th round at 1:25.
It was Duno’s 4th setback against 26 wins while Moran is now with 30 wins with 21 knockouts, 6 loses and 1 draw.
Garry Jones promoted the boxing event while the matchmakers were Melvin Rivas and Daniel Rubin. (Lito delos Reyes)
