NABF superbantam champion Bernabe Concepcion will be ready to challenge newly-crowned WBO superbantam champ Juan Manuel Lopez on August 30.
This was revealed today by Concepcion's manager Aljoe Jaro, who stated that after they take care of their July 26 foe, the Catanduanes-raised Concepcion will then plunge into training for a possible shot at Lopez.
"Pagkatapos ng July 26, diretso na ensayo," said Jaro, who discovered and nurtured Concepcion into a world-class prizefighter.
Concepcion sees action on July 26 underneath the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito showdown at the MGM Grand.
Lopez stopped Daniel Ponce de Leon in the first round today in New Jersey to claim the WBO title.
