Espina rises from the canvas to stop Aden in the night's best fight

NEWCOMER Noven King Espina of Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte made a grand debut by coming back from a knockdown to knock out Aden Haranay of Agusan del Sur last August 23 at the Sto. Tomas Gym in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
Espina was knocked down in the 1st round by Haranay.
But Espina came back alive by sending down Haranay twice in the 2nd round and the last at 1:33.
Haranay was never able to recover as it was voted as the Best Fight of the Night.
Meanwhile, Jason Facularin of Davao City scored a knockout at 1:11 of the 3rd round over Kier Clenton Espere of Taguig City in the main event.
The other results:
Jeto Masangkal settled a majority draw with Venkie Patac;
Arnel Lofranco stopped Ryan Makiputin in the 2nd round;
Rex Bautista won over Joshua Padual by a unanimous decision;
Jacklien Serenoso hammered Rogelio Boyles by a knockout in the 1st round;
Crisalito Beltran kayoed Bryan Tito in 1:26 of the 1st round.
The boxing event was promoted by Grace Enaje.
