He thinks Fury can win the fight by knockout. * * * "I think Fury could stop him. I like AJ, he's a good fighter, he's got good talent, he's had a great comeback. I like all that," Atlas said on The Fight podcast. "I'm not gonna say he has a China chin, I'm not gonna say that. But, I'm gonna say Fury has a better chin." * * * The exhibition match between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield on Memorial Day weekend in Miami is on the headlines again even if some events made the realization of the fight recently complicated. * * * Tyson posted on Instagram and denied a deal with Triller, the platform that promoted his fight with Roy Jones Jr. last year. “Just to be clear, there is no Tyson with Triller fight,” Tyson wrote. “I don’t know any Triller executives personally. I don’t have a deal with Triller or any head executive representing them for the next event." * * * "I am a partner in Legends Only League and my next event is with my league. I will never do another event or any business with Triller so anyone misrepresenting that they own the rights to my name or my next event isn’t true. I am not with or ever will be with Triller’s Fight Club," added Tyson. * * * Team Holyfield said Monday that Tyson rejected a $25 million guarantee, the same amount of money that made possible the conduct of Tyson’s comeback fight against Jones Jr. * * * The Los Angeles Lakers are playing without LeBron James indefinitely with a high ankle sprain, Anthony Davis with calf strain and tendinosis, out for at least another week and Marc Gasol missed two weeks because of health and safety protocols. * * * The Lakers are on a three-game losing streak dropping to 28-16 in the standings. Head coach, Frank Vogel, revealed his top priority which is to organize the Lakers offensively to return to the winning track. “Getting us organized offensively is probably my top priority right now,” Vogel said, via Spectrum Sportsnet. * * * Filipino athletes have won a total of ten Olympic medals, as of 2016 Summer Olympics, with boxing as the top medal-producing sport. No Filipino athlete has ever won a gold medal, and the Philippines is the country that has won the second most medals without winning gold behind Malaysia which have won only 11 medals. * * * Top ten nations in the total overall medal standings in the Summer Olympics: Rank Nation Gold Silver Bronze Total 1 United States (USA) 1022-794-705-2521 2 Russia (RUS) 590 -486-480-1556 3 Germany (GER) 428-444-474-1346 4 Great Britain (GBR) 263-295-293-851 5 China (CHN) 224-167 -155 -546 6 France (FRA) 212-241-263-716 7 Italy (ITA) 206-178-193-577 8 Hungary (HUN) 175-147-169-491 9 Australia (AUS) 147-163-187-497 10 Sweden (SWE) 145-170-179-494 Click here to view a list of other articles written by Maloney L.
