Havas Media Asia lands winning punch for 'Fight of Champions' Astro broadcast deal in Malaysia PhilBoxing.com Fri, 13 Jul 2018 Pacquiao vs Matthysse live fight will be showcased worldwide in more than 200 territories 13 July (Singapore) - Havas Sports & Entertainment, a division of Havas Media Asia Pacific, announced today its agreement with Astro Malaysia to broadcast the highly anticipated ?Fight of Champions? World Boxing Association (WBA) Welterweight Championship in Malaysia. The event, featuring Manny Pacquiao and Lucas Matthysse, will be beamed live on 15 July at 8 a.m. from the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur (8 p.m. EST on July 14 in the US), and is fast shaping to become a global blockbuster with broadcast deals secured in more than 200 territories. Despite the FIFA World Cup 2018 coming to a conclusion this weekend, the highly anticipated bout has received robust response from broadcasters across the Asia Pacific, Latin America, USA, Europe, Africa, MENA and the Caribbean. Havas Sports & Entertainment was appointed by fight promoters MP Promotions and Events as the International Media Rights and Commercial Partner.
