Sharma 167 Lbs, Kesornsombat 169 Lbs for 'Fists of Fury' in Bangkok, Thailand (PHOTOS)

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Tough fighters from Thailand and India successfully made weight ahead of "Fist of Fury" Saturday (June 2) at Ram 100 Boxing Stadium here in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

In the main feature, tough-looking Gaganpreet Sharma, 28, of Chandigarh, India, weighed-in at 166.7 lbs (75.6 Kgs) while dangerous Thai warrior former Muay Thai combatant Odisorn Kesornsombat, 25, tipped the scales at 169.3 lbs (76.8 Kgs) for their super middleweight clash of civilizations war likely to end by knock out.

For the co-main event, Indian fighter Sagar Narwat made 151.9 lbs (68.9 kilos) as his Thai opponent Atthapon Baenkham came-in at 148 Lbs (67 kilos). The battle a tough job for the youthful looking Baenkham as Narwat has been and Indian amateur standout, coming-in into the pro ranks.

In lightweights, Sachin Dekwal of India and the experienced, heavily tattooed Vachayan Khamon of Thailand both came-in at an identical weight of 134.5 lbs (61 kilos).

Also super lightweights, Abhishek Verma made 139.7 Lbs (63.4) kilos while Thai boxer Aphisit Namkhot recorded 139.5 (63.3 kilos).


The bearded Kamal Singh (R) weighed-in at 125.6 Lbs (57 kilos) for 124.78 (56.6 kilos) made by Thailand prize-fighter Pongpasin Chulerd (L).


In Super featherweights, India's Dharamvir Singh 128.5 Lbs (58.3 kilos) while Thai Tanpisit Chairach made 131.61 Lbs (59.7 kgs).


Plus, Indian warrior woman Urvashi Singh scaled-in at 117.5 lbs (53.3 kilos) while cute Thai fight-girl Sirintip Wuychaiphoom made 116.84 (53 kilos).

"Fist of Fury" Saturday June 2 at Ram 100 Boxing Stadium in Ramkamhaeng, Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand, is a joint production of Highland Boxing International Promotions, Jai Singh's Royal Sports Promotions of New Delphi and India's Team Roshan.

Fights start at 6 PM.
