Bradly Beal erupted for 27 points while John Wall had 20 points and 14 assists. Wall delivered the dagger with a 15-foot jumper that gave Washington a four-point lead with 13 seconds to go. Otto Porter Jr had 17 points while Bojan Bogdanovic sparked the bench with 14 as Washington made 37 of 82 field goals (45.1 percent). The Wizards converted only 7-of-24 triples (29.2 percent) but they swished 22 of 27 free throws.. Dennis Schroder was stellar for the Hawks with 29 points and 11 assists but it could not save Atlanta, which shot just 40.9 percent from the field (38-of-93), 29 percent from long distance (9-of-31) and 66.7 percent from the free throw line (14-of-21). "it was right there. We've just got to be better in crunch time," Schroder told the Associated Press about how close the Hawks were in stealing this one. Atlanta tries to knot the series on Friday when it hosts Game 6 at the Philips Arena. The winner of the Wizards-Celtics series will face the winner of the Celtics-Bulls match-up which also stands at 3-2 in favor of Boston.
