NBA -- Bulls rally past Cavs, 118-108

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls came back from an early 32-16 deficit to thwart the Cleveland Cavaliers, 118-108, on Friday night at the United Center.
Rajon Rondo turned in an all-around effort to lead the Bulls, finishing with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Taj Gibson had 18 points and 11 rebounds while Paul Zipser accounted for another 18 markers off the bench. Dwyane Wade chipped in 11 in 23 minutes of action.
Robin Lopez, a preseason acquisition for the Bulls during the preseason had 11 points and 9 boards. Jimmy Butler did not play.
The Cavs traveled to Chicago without its Big 3 of LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. Without its key starters, Cleveland got 23 points from John Hiolland and 19 from Jordan McCrae.
The Bulls dropped to 2-2 in preseason play while the Cavs improved slightly at 2-3.
