ESTRADA SAYS HE INJURED HIS RIGHT HAND AGAIN IN TABUGON FIGHT
By Maloney L. Samaco PhilBoxing.com Tue, 11 Oct 2016

Juan Francisco 'Gallo' Estrada disclosed that he hurt his right hand again during his superflyweight debut against Raymond Tabugon in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico.
"From the sixth round I really hurt my right hand when I was connecting on the Filipino and the pain was increasing, so I seriously started only using my left. I will check later with the doctors hope it's nothing serious because I want to fight again in December," Estrada was quoted by Boxing Scene.
Tabugon stayed on his feet after ten rounds of battle against the former WBA and WBO flyweight world champion Estrada. Although the Mexican won in all rounds in the three judges' scorecards, 100-90 all, but he failed to floor or KO the Filipino.
Estrada who improved his record to 34-2, 24 KOs wanted to stop Tabugon but cited his right hand hurt which caused his not so impressive showing.
"I wanted to knock him out, but the pain in my right hand prevented me from finishing him, but overall I felt good. I am not satisfied, but it was also more than a year without a fight. If everything goes well with my hand, then I will fight in December and then in 2017 against 'Chocolatito' Gonz?lez."
Alfredo Caballero, Estrada's trainer, believes his fighter can beat Chocolatito at superflyweight even by knockout. But that was before the fight with Tabugon.
"We think they recognize that at 108 pounds, Juan Francisco was weak, and he still gave them a fight like they never had before in 2012. Perhaps at 115 pounds, [Chocolatito] will not have as much of an opportunity [to win]. At super flyweight I think we can even knock him out," Caballero told ESPN.
There were repors that Chocolatito is more interested in a rematch with former WBC superflyweight champion Carlos Cuadras or a fight with WBO superflyweight titlist Naoya Inoue of Japan.
