Gorres, Batawang Showing Great Progress

According to a source who was at the Wild Card Gym today, both Z 'The Dream' Gorres and Bert 'Ninja' Batawang looked extremely good at training, and should have no problem against their respective opponents on the August 11 'World Cup' in Sacramento.
Gorres will face Gerson Guerrero in a 12-round IBF superflyweight eliminator, while the power-punching Batawang takes on Francisco Rosas in another 12-round IBF eliminator under the light-flyweight division.
"Batawang is really good, and Gorres has improved a lot. Malakas ang RP team at lahat sila ay well-disciplined. We have a big, big chance," said the source.
