BRADLEY WINS BY UD OVER VARGAS AFTER CONFUSION ENSUED TOWARDS END OF THE BOUT

STUBHUB CENTER, CARSON, CA -- In one of the weirdest ending ever witnessed in boxing, Referee Pat Russell thought he heard the bell and stopped the fight with still 7 seconds left. Vargas thought that we won the fight because he was chasing Bradley and he cornered him on the ropes. He jumped on the ropes declaring victory.
Pandamonium almost ensued until it was corrected by the officials and Bradley was declared the winner with the scores at 115-112, 117-111 and 115-112.
Referee Pat Russell admitted that he made a mistake about the bell so he stopped the fight. The fight therefore was officially a win for Tim Bradley.
