NBA -- Gibson Gasol lead Bulls past Bucks, 95-86 By Anthony Rozic PhilBoxing.com Fri, 07 Nov 2014 CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls celebrated Derrick Rose's return from a two-game absence with a hard fought 95-86 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Sidelined for a pair of outings after spraining both his ankles against the Cleveland Cavaliers last October 31 at the United Center, Rose didn't look 100 percent against the Bucks and he appeared tentative at the start. Rose made only four of 10 shots for 13 points and he had four turnovers against seven assists. As he struggled, though, the rest of the Bulls picked up the slack and the team improved to 4-1. The frontline of Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol proved too much for the Bucks as the twin towers combined for 45 points and 24 rebounds. Jimmy Butler accounted for 14 points and Mike Dunleavy contributed 12. After narrowly winning the first quarter 23-21, the Bulls fell into a 53-49 halftime hole by allowing Milwaukee to score 32 second quarter points. The Bulls re-established control in the third quarter before holding off the stubborn Bucks, who came to within 83-80 in the final 3:56 of action. Giannis Antetokounmpo was the high scorer for Milwaukee with 13 and Kris Middleton had 11. Point guard Brandon Knight finished with 10 points and eight assists but no other Bucks scored in double figures. Bucks rookie Jabari Parker, a Chicago native who went to the same high school as Derrick Rose (Simeon) made on four of 12 field goals for eight points.
